MODULAR BACKPLATE
This is the last backplate you’ll ever need.
This is my new Modular Backpack. Originally created out of necessity for my own kit build. It’s not simply a backplate, it’s a system! The system is designed to give you a base backplate with interchangeable designs to customize your kit. Need a jump pack? Need a jet pack? Staying on the ground and just need a missile launcher? This system has you covered for any incursion. The “Mods” are designed to attach either permanently with glue or can be secured with printable washers and screws of your choosing to allow you to switch it up.

TECH TIPS and FAQ
Here are some visual guides to help you get the most out of your new files. I build for the joy of it so my designs tend to lean towards what my printer will handle. My printer volume is 320x320x385. In the print positions shown the designs have been created to require the least amount of supports and assist you in getting the cleanest raw print. While I don’t recommend crowding the build plate, these images show the individual parts as they were intended to be printed. Everyone has their go-to print system so I will simply relay what’s worked for me. I typically use PLA exclusively, as well as BRIM and TREE Supports when required. I try to keep the infill below 10% to save filament, print time and weight. A minimum of 3 Walls is recommended. Note that too many walls and too much infill will negatively affect the quality of the print. For larger parts I tend to print them by them selves on the print bed. Lastly, not all parts will fit on all print machines. If you scale any one part of a model you need to scale all the associated parts of the model as well to insure the parts will assemble as intended. Hope the information is helpful and I appreciate you stopping by my Outpost. Happy printing!
